Lipson Neilson PC, a full-service law firm with offices in Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and Michigan, takes great pleasure in announcing the appointment of attorneys Lisa Zastrow and Janeen Isaacson as Partners. Lisa works in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Janeen works in the firm’s Las Vegas office and is heading-up the firm’s new office in Colorado Springs.
Lisa Zastrow has nearly two decades of success as a trial and administrative law attorney, having successfully handled appeals and Writ Petitions before the Nevada Supreme Court and in 9th and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as conducting as lead trial and co- trial counsel more than 200 trials, arbitrations, administrative hearings and mediations.
As an experienced commercial, professional liability defense, constitutional law and employment lawyer, Lisa routinely represents clients in state and federal court, before administrative bodies as well as through all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Licensed to practice in Nevada, Oklahoma, Missouri and North Dakota, her expertise and experience combined with her well-developed business acumen allows her to quickly understand a client’s business and assess legal matters from their perspective. Lisa routinely acts as outside General Counsel for her corporate clients and serves to negotiate a wide-ranging body of agreements for those clients.
Janeen Isaacson has been a practicing litigator for more than twenty years.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent eight years as a prosecutor for Nevada’s Office of Bar Counsel, including serving as Interim Bar Counsel. Janeen served as lead counsel for more than 100 discipline trials. She prosecuted and obtained disbarments for the office’s high profile and complex cases, including the case against an attorney who was convicted of stealing more than $10 million in client funds. Janeen has also worked as in-house counsel at Travelers Insurance where she was the lead attorney for commercial litigation cases.
Janeen’s experience make her uniquely qualified to help guide law firms and lawyers through the pitfalls and complications of running a successful practice while strictly complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct. She is licensed to practice in Nevada, Colorado and California.
