Steven H. Malach


Steven H. Malach heads Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer, & Garin, P.C.’s estate planning practice group and the Center For Estate Planning.

Mr. Malach joined the firm after the acquisition of his Southfield firm, the Center for Estate Planning in January 2008. He was also the founding partner of Malach, Smith & Greenberg, L.L.P., in Southfield.

Mr. Malach specializes in elder law, estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, trust administration. He also practices in the areas of wrongful death, family law, divorce, custody, child support, real estate, commercial and residential transactions and litigation, and general counsel. He also regularly assists clients in the complex areas of probate litigation.

Mr. Malach is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Family Law and Probate and Estate Planning sections, the Detroit Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Wayne County Probate Court Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Mr. Malach received his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan
