Shannon Nordstrom is a principal with Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer, & Garin in its Las Vegas office. She practices primarily in the areas of professional liability defense, professional responsibility, complex commercial litigation, and employment law. Ms. Nordstrom has also practiced in the areas of wage-and-hour class action, personal injury, railroad and government entity liability, construction claims, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, collections, and third-party reproductive law.

Ms. Nordstrom earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2001, graduating with Distinction and Concentrations in Intellectual Property and International Law. Ms. Nordstrom is licensed in both California and Nevada.

She is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL), serves as Co-Chair of the Clark County Bar Association’s Community Services Committee, and President of Project REAL (Relevant Education About the Law).

She was recently honored for her volunteer work by the Clark County Bar Association as a member of Bar’s Community Service Committee. Ms. Nordstrom also co-founded the First-Year Attorney/Student Mentoring Program at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law in 2008, where she actively participates in the coordination of the program as well as volunteering as a mentor to a first-year law student each year.  While the mentoring program is designed to take place only during the Spring semester of the student’s first year, Ms. Nordstrom has continually voluntarily advanced her mentoring relationships well beyond the duration of the program.
