This experience has been recognized by his appointment by the State Public Administrator to serve as a Wayne County Public Administrator who is frequently selected by the Judges of the Wayne County Probate Court to assume administration of decedent’s estates, guardianships and conservatorships. He is also acts as a mediator of disputes involving probate, domestic and general civil litigation cases.Mr. Neilson has leveraged his specialized knowledge in business, estate planning, taxation and probate law to provide his clients with the added specialized advantage in their representation in trial court proceedings. He is a recognized expert in deftly handling and litigating sensitive areas of domestic and family law and has a proven track record in successfully handling the areas of probate and professional liability litigation.
Jeffrey Neilson is licensed to practice law in the states of Michigan, Nevada, and Colorado. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Probate Section; the Nevada State Bar; and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. In October 2011, he was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to the Attorney Grievance Commission.
